As an in-house designer for Pomegranate, I have the opportunity to work closely with the Charley Harper Art Studio and Charley Harper’s son, Brett Harper, to conceptualize and produce innovative new product types. Under the direction of Chief Creative Officer, Hisiya Beppu, myself and editor Linda Meyer collaborate on a multitude of projects to transform Charley’s iconic Minimal Realism paintings into functional objects. Many hours have been spent hand-illustrating Charley’s paintings into vectors.
